Introduction
Getting to Know Lynx
What is Lynx?
Lynx is an advanced decentralized perpetuals exchange offering high-leverage trading on crypto, forex, and commodities using any ERC-20 token as collateral. Through Lynx, token holders can utilize their favorite tokens - from governance tokens and LSTs to yield-bearing assets and stablecoins - to gain exposure to other assets without ever selling their holdings.
Lynx introduces gasless trading to a growing number of chains. Using omnichain liquidity pools, Lynx can easily extend support to additional chains while offering immediate access to deep trading liquidity. By applying its liquidity to all chains, Lynx maximizes trading volumes and fees per dollar of liquidity deposited.
Key Features
Traders:
Any Token as Collateral: Trade perpetuals using any listed collateral token, while its price volatility has no impact on the health of your position
No Gas Costs: Signing intents rather than ordinary transactions lets users trade perpetuals without paying any gas fees or needing to hold a chain's native token
Guaranteed Payouts for Successful Traders: Funds are earmarked on every trade to ensure that profitable positions are paid out, regardless of black-swan events or bank runs
Low Liquidation Penalties: Trade big with near-zero penalties on trades closed by liquidations
Liquidity Providers:
Single-Asset Liquidity Provision: Tailor exposure to specific assets by providing liquidity to select single-asset pools rather than a multi-asset basket (+ no impermanent loss)
Limited Counterparty Risk: Funding rates exchanged between traders helps balance open interests and reduces exposure to trader P&L
Maximum Fee Generation: Liquidity is utilized in omnichain liquidity pools to generate trading volume and fees across all supported chains and ecosystems (eg. EVM, Cosmos)
Mitigated Price Manipulation: Advanced price impact modeling prevents traders from manipulating spot prices to benefit their leveraged positions (coming soon)
Listing your Token
Any protocol, DAO, or blockchain can easily list a token as a collateral asset on Lynx, enabling token holders to use it to trade perpetuals. Listing your token on Lynx has many benefits:
Increased Utility for the Token
Revenue Opportunities for Token Holders
Customizable Listing (eg. determine which instruments are tradeable using your token)
Lynx can support any ERC-20 token in an instant, regardless of which chain it's deployed on.
Listing your token as a collateral asset on Lynx does not:
Allow traders to short your token - only use it as a collateral asset
Sell off your token during liquidations: liquidations create no negative price impact or risk of cascading events
With the flexibility to support any collateral asset, listing on Lynx is quick and easy. To learn more about integration, contact us.
